4/11/10 Session
D.I.G. 12/27/1003
1. 6 more dwarfs come up behind the party trapping them in between the dwarfs on the plateau. The leader of the newly arrived dwarfs hails our heroes, asks them to stop fighting, and put their weapons away.
2. Finally Oz & Kal manage to knock a raging Ash out cold.
3. Oz & TBM go the diplomatic route with Lt. Grog (the leader of the dwarfs), Ph attempts to slink away while the rest party do as Lt. Grog asks traveling to the plateau.
4. Ph is spotted by Grog, Oz & TBM as he attempts to hide. Ignoring the calls from the trio, Ph keeps travelling. Grog casts a spell giving him wings. As Grog follows after, Ph casts obscuring mist which is shortly dispelled by Grog. A second obscuring mist is cast followed by an illusion showing Ph falling off the side of the mountain. Ph then hides in his mist. Grog dispels the mist, again, then upon spotting Ph convinces him that he means them no harm and to join the others.
5. The party is taken to the clan chieftain, Zorgan. TBM acting as the party rep tells Zorgan of their mission to investigate the missing ore shipment and miners. TBM & Zorgan soon reach an agreement for the release of the miners. The ore is considered missing. The cost of the release of the miners is the silence of the party in regards to the dwarf clan and their quest for a new mountain to settle in. The reason for the commotion was that the miners broke through a wall in the dwarfs’ nursery. Soon soldiers were called in to rid the mines of the “monsters”. The dwarfs defending their children slay the humans and conquered the mine. No longer safe the dwarfs have made plans to leave, which they now intend to do.
6. Kal is asked to join the other dwarfs on their journey. He declines reasoning that there are others of their ilk wandering the world that needs help.
7. Oz tells of his dream and is told there are elves in the desert they will be crossing, and if his dream becomes a reality they can count on Zorgan as an ally.
8. Spotting the amulet on Ash, Zorgan casts a spell removing and keeping it. The dwarfs now leave the cave on their journey to a new home.
9. The dead soldiers are burned and the miners are freed. On ward they travelled to Brussell Brush.

10. Oz & TBM see Baron Mike Plant to relay the results of their investigation & to collect the reward. They are offered either a lavish villa (lavish you say? In this po-dunk town? I shudder to think what their idea of “lavish”) or 200 pieces of platinum. The platinum is accepted as payment.
11. ECP greets the party @ the inn & upon seeing the amulet no longer on him asks Ash what had happened. Ash answers with a finger to his lips, than a tweak of his nose then a long slow drink of his ale. Later Ash relays what he remembers or was told of the events in regards to the amulet.
D.I.G. 1/5/1004-1/14/1004
12. The party travel with ECP to the small desert outskirt town of Kesang Port. The journey was uneventful, arriving in town on 1/14/1004 in the mid morning. Horses are traded for camels, desert outfits are donned & a guide named Jax is obtained. The current temperature is 70°.
13. While looking into the desert Oz has a new vision that he shares with the party. The desert used to be a lush forest. Then man came and burned it to the ground turning it into the desert.
14. ECP tells the party the plans to cross the desert. They will make way for an oasis that is about half way through.
D.I.G. 1/14/1004 – 2/9/1004
15. To the oasis our heroes trek. Spells will not work in the desert. Every few days a statue showing the way to the oasis is seen.
16. 2/9/1004 the party reaches the oasis. Lush and beautiful with cool refreshing water, the oasis is a safe haven in the harsh environment of the desert. The current temperature is 90°, as the party resupplies and refreshes Jax warns the party it will get much hotter.

17. During Ash & Oz’s watch, Ash spots 7 animated corpses (Ash Husks as per TBM) then another humanoid rises from the sand (Salt Mummy again as per TBM). Fun ensues! ECP is diseased & Jax dies along with all but 2 camels before they are dispatched.
18. The party wants to move came. DA want to go NE, Ash thinks NW, Oz prays before agreeing with DA leading the party NE for 2 hours.
D.I.G. 2/15/1004 – 2/27/1004 fuck its hot out here! The current temperature is 125°
19. Lost & without a guide our heroes wander through the desert until they all fall to fatigue and dehydration. What a sad, sad, sad state of affairs!
D.I.G. 3/12/1004
20. The party awakens on cool stone beds underground about 200’ below sea level (as per KAl) wearing only loin cloths. ECP is NOT with them. Only 1 exit to the room.
21. There is plenty of food & water available. The berries are ones that no one has ever seen before and the light in the room is due to a daylight spell cast upon the ceiling.
22. TBM & DA talk to an elven guard in the halls, then PH talks to him privately revealing to only the guard that he himself is an elf.
23. After giving robes the party is escorted to the elders, through an underground forest. The forest is in a cylindrical room 1 mile in radius that is also lit by daylight spells. A huge tree resides in the middle of the forest.
24. The elder the party is taken too is a Lion of Taloseed, a druid of high regard. He then tells the Party that the forest they are in is what remains of the great forest that was turned to the desert they travelled through. They are also told that the reason magic will not work in the desert is because the weave had been damaged. “About 3000 years ago the gods had a war on Faerun”.
25. TBM is told of 2 creatures that may be old enough to answer his questions. One being an old woman in the mountains on the other side of the world and the other is a foul creature to the north in the desert that lives in water underground. He is also told that any information he is seeking from the creatures must be taken, it will not be given.
26. Kal asks about where any remaining dwarfs may be. He is told about New Evermeet, an island way off the coast of the desert.
27. TBM tells his story to the elves, who have heard his name in the stories of old. He is also told he is full of “old” magic and has been sent to restore magic in the world. He should start his work by getting the information he requires from the creature to the north.
28. They are told ECP is being cared for. As the party leaves DA & Ph are asked to stay behind. Ph is told other half elves are looking for the Misty Isle and that he should also look for it before the humans find it.
29. DA talks to the eldest druid who tells him more about the druids and offers to help him find a new animal companion. DA tells of his grove and informed tree Ents protect it. He is also told of other groves scattered across the world 1 on the northern tip in Gill, 1 on the southern tip and another to the north. DA trains with the other druids & starts to learn of the Lion of Taloseed.
30. Art & Oz go to see ECP who is being attended to. He is in a coma between the living and dead and will need a week to recover.
31. Oz asks for a private audience with the elders.
32. Kal looks at the crafts and wares of the elves, mostly natural stuff.
33. Ash checks out the huge central tree and as he approaches he hears a woman’s voice in his head telling him not to get any closer, you are not worthy.
34. TBM uses his bardic knowledge and determines the tree can talk, so he talks to it.
35. Oz is summoned by the female elder, Amra, and he tells her he feels his god has sent him to the grove. He also talks of his vision and of Artimus, who is her brother. He is also told TBM is old magic and is needed if the world is to regain its balance. Oz then determines he must protect TBM.
36. Oz informs TBM about the state of ECP & of his meeting with Arma. TBM tells Oz about the desert creature to the north & asks Oz to help him look for books about magical beasts (aquatic, underground creatures). His research leads him to believe that the creature could be a green dragon. TBM tells Oz the elves basically know the location of the creature.
37. When the party meets up TBM tells of his new found and asks the party to escort him to the creatures lair to the north. The party agrees to help.
